Hi Knowledgeable, Outlook 2011 through 2016 has used the same local folder to store contacts called 'Recent Addresses' and it doesn't sync with the Exchange server (to or from). What it does is intially pull from the Exchange server and build the list locally as you go. Again, it will not sync with the Exchange server, so if your user switches computers they will have to setup Outlook again (only pulling what the Exchange server has) and then import the other contacts that they added after their last setup with Outlook on their original machine. Here is Microsoft's stance on the subject:. In short, you can and sync again, but any contacts that Exchange doesn't have, they will need to be added again.
