In some ways, AP is much more advanced and capable than PsE, but there are a few areas where PsE is working better for me. When bringing out underexposed shadow details, or reducing overexposed highlights, I get much better results in PsE than AP. In Adobe RAW, the 'Recovery' and 'Fill Light' tools work much better for me than APs 'Shadow' and 'Highlights' tools. Once 'developed' in PsE, if I go to Enhance>Adjust Lighting>Shadows/Highlights I can gain further improvements that I cannot reproduce in AP. However, if the photo is exposed correctly, I prefer APs interface for general fine tuning of my images.

As far as stability goes, this is still a beta version. I didn’t find many bugs and the software didn’t crash on me more than once (which might actually be my fault), so it is usable and not just for testing purposes.
